Umuada Igbo MIGL Launches First Charitable Volunteer Event
Umuada Igbo MIGL Launches First Charitable Volunteer Event
On Sunday, August 31, 2025, Umuada Igbo Michigan & Great Lakes (MIGL) proudly held its first-ever charitable service event at the Crossroads of Michigan Soup Kitchen.
With unity, dedication, and compassion, our women and their children served over 500 guests with a hearty meal of Rice & Red Beans, paired with Peach Cups. In addition to meals, our association also presented a check to support the Soup Kitchen’s ongoing programs—a commitment to strengthening our community beyond the day’s event.
The day was filled with joy, laughter, and the spirit of service. From excited children to smiling mothers, everyone shared in the fulfillment of giving back.
This milestone marks the beginning of many more impactful initiatives. At Umuada Igbo MIGL, advocacy, service, and sisterhood are at the heart of who we are.
Here’s to many more opportunities to serve, uplift, and empower!
